Depicting Spaces

For the Lounge Scene project, I reverse-engineered a real-world apartment corner photo using FSpy to extract precise camera axes via two vanishing points, then constructed the complete 3D interior in Blender.

Starting with the reference image, I calibrated the room's XY plane origin in FSpy for perfect perspective alignment, importing this data directly into Blender as the viewport guide. This ensured every element—hardwood floors, beige walls, oak door, and entryway—matched the photo's vanishing points exactly, with extruded surfaces and accurate depth scaling.

I then populated the space with detailed props including a tufted armchair, Persian rug, vintage phone table, and table lamp, applying UV unwrapping and photorealistic materials like wood grain and fabric textures aligned to the FSpy camera view. Subtle shading techniques captured the warm ambient lighting and spatial volume, demonstrating FSpy's power for architectural matchmoving and portfolio-ready interior visualization
